The 2015 Rivers Gubernatorial Debate
As the preeminent investment promotion forum in Nigeria, REIF in partnership with some key non-political stakeholders in the country, organized the first ever Gubernatorial Debate in the region to enable the aspirants from the three major political parties interact with the investment community on their economic agenda for the state. This debate was captured live on Channels Television and was rated above the Presidential Debate of that year.See Video
The 2019 Rivers Gubernatorial Debate
Rivers Entrepreneurs and Investors Forum (REIF), in conjunction with our developmental partners; Stakeholder Democracy Network (SDN), Nigeria Info FM, Enough is Enough (EIE), Silverbird Communication, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), and BusinessDay, hosted the much-anticipated “Rivers Debate-2019”. The Debate was for the leading Governorship Candidates and they provided their manifestos on:
- Economy
- Infrastructure
- Open Governance
- Security
- Education
- Health
- Job Creation
The 2023 Rivers Gubernatorial Debate
Rivers Entrepreneurs and investors Forum (REIF) in collaboration with Stakeholders Democracy Network (SDN), Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta – PIND, Community Initiative for Enhanced Peace and Development (CIEPD), African Telecommunications and Technologies Limited operators of 92.3 Nigeria Info FM, Super FM and Businessday Media Limited organized the 2023 edition with the aim of bringing together gubernatorial candidates of the major political parties, in a congenial atmosphere to present their manifestoes and field questions, particularly on their economic agenda to the Rivers people and the business community, to determine the “Right” Candidate.
